Diners remark that each dish has a very specific level of spiciness, and the chef is careful to prepare the meal exactly to your wishes. Appetizers like the fresh spring rolls with shrimp are crave-worthy, and entrees like the yellow curry with chicken and the spicy basil noodles earn high marks. Though the service is fast, this restaurant’s popularity means that there is sometimes a wait, so make a reservation if you want to dine at a busy time. Just a short drive from Coral Bay Communities, Tamarind Thai Restaurant may be one of the best places to eat Thai cuisine in La Mesa.
